When things go wrong

If you have been marketing your business online for a while now or using mobile Apps, then we would be willing to bet that you realise that not everything always goes according to plan.

Sometimes things just go wrong, stop working or you can’t figure things out, even if it was all working perfectly not too long ago.

Sounding about right?

Well, if it makes you feel any better you are not alone. Many of us feel this way at times and it can be embarrassing to ask for help, so we created this area as a first port of call if things go wrong.

Frequently Asked Questions

We will add more FAQ’s as they come in from our users

What do I need to provide when contacting you?

If you need to contact us for any reason, the more information you can provide regarding the nature of your query the better.

At the very least you will need to supply us with your name, email address, topic title and finally a description of what you need from us. Anything like screen shots or images can help but are not usually required.

We will NEVER ask for passwords or bank details – if you ever get asked for these details contact us immediately.

We won’t normally ask for a phone number but if you feel its an emergency and supply us with it we may phone you back.

How long will it take for us to get back to you?

We will try our very best to get back to you within 24 hrs, unless it is a holiday or the weekend.

Can I phone you?

Yes, by all means contact us by the number provided on the Contact page.

Please note, if we are in with a client or out on the road, we may not answer the phone immediately, so please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Problem logging in with Facebook

Some Users may experience problems when attempting to login using the Facebook option. This appears to be a 5 year old issue, and believe me, we have tried all the recommended solutions. The problem occurs if you also have the Facebook App installed on your phone.

We have, for the most part, resolve the problem, though some of our Users are still having trouble. If you are unfortunate enough to be one them, there are a few things you can try;

  • Go to phone settings and disable/delete the Facebook App. Bit drastic.
  • Go to Facebook App settings and remove My Local Bargains from the Facebook App control.
  • Use the Twitter login method.

We will continue to work on the problem until it is resolved.

Can I really add an unlimited number of ads?

Yes.

At the moment there are no restrictions, the faster you can type the more you can add.

However, we reserve the right to amend this in the future if we deem it appropriate.
